Even though it was 17 years ago, the grief is still there. I’m sorry for your loss.

You made excellent points.

In the Jewish faith, we are taught exactly the same words to say. And what not to say.

One of the things that get me is when people say, “things happen for a reason.” And worse, “ He’s in a better place.”

I’m glad to read that you are now married to your best friend.

Thank you for writing what needs to be said.
