I owned a children’s hairstyling salon in LA back in the late 80s and 90s.
A prospective client came in asking if I would perm her 3-year old daughter’s hair! Three years old!
Of course I refused. Not only would she never sit still for that length of time, but to put chemicals on her hair at that age!
Could she not accept her daughter as she is? Apparently not.
