I was so unhappy in my marriage to my children’s father. I was never in love with him. I got pregnant so I felt we “ should” marry.

After 12 miserable years, it was my Rabbi who encouraged me to leave. “You’re not teaching your sons anything by staying in a loveless marriage.”

As difficult as it was for me financially, he was right.

I’m currently married, happily, to the man who really raised my sons.
