When my oldest son when to pre-school at 3 years old, he saw a student coming into the school holding two women’s hands. He said with a smile , “Look! That kid has TWO mommies!”
When he was in elementary school, he wanted to paint his toenails blue. That was fun. Then in middle school, he pained his fingernails a frosty pearl color.
His father wasn’t happy. Too fucking bad.
I’ve always let my kids express themselves they way they chose. After all, who the hell is it threatening?
